Solar Maintenance Engineer

What you'll be doing at Presam Construction & General Services Inc.

• Hold overall responsibility for the PMS business and service scopes offered to clients
• Manage schedules committed to under contract
• Ensure technical quality of every site visit
• Issue service reports
• Establish maintenance standards
• Build and train the field team
• Serve as final technical authority on fault diagnosis and corrective works

• BS Electrical Engineering graduate.
• PRC-licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)
• At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV commissioning, troubleshooting, or O&M.
• Experience leading on-site field technicians, junior staff, or sub-contractors.
• Basic fault-finding capability on commercial and industrial (C&I) solar systems
• Familiarity with major inverter monitoring portals (e.g., Huawei, Sungrow).
• Competent use of standard electrical test instruments like clamp meters and digital multimeters.
• Ability to write clear, professional technical and service reports in English.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• DOLE-accredited safety training (COSH, SO2, or SO3).
• Experience with hybrid inverters, battery storage (BESS), or auditing systems installed by other contractors
• Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), net-metering rules, and utility interconnection.
• Experience utilizing CMMS or ticketing platforms for service contract management
• Proficiency with advanced testing tools like IV curve tracers and thermal cameras
• Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) eligibility
